We aim to organise about 4 outings/day trips a year, travelling by coach to a variety of venues including large gardens, exhibitions and museums, cities and theatre trips. This is an open group and all u3a members are welcome.
The trips are not open to non-u3a members and only assistance dogs are allowed on the coach.

Cheques are payable to Matlock Area u3a.
We do not offer refunds if you cancel your booking but will accept a substitute if you can find someone to take your place.
Theatre Trip to Leeds on Thursday 19 September
There will be a coach trip to Leeds on 19th September arriving in time for coffee and lunch followed by a trip to Leeds Playhouse to see “A Raisin in the Sun”.
For those who do not want to attend the theatre there is plenty to explore in Leeds such as the Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds City Museum, Leeds Art Gallery, Henry Moore Institute, the Corn Exchange, Leeds Minster, The Calls and shops including John Lewis and the Victoria Quarter, a beautiful Victorian style arcade.
Departure from Slacks 9.15am. Return from Leeds 5pm approx. Coach £21 each.
Tickets to see “A Raisin in the Sun” at 2pm at the Leeds Playhouse £23 each.

By reserving a block of 20 seats for the play, we can get a £5 discount per seat reducing the price from £28 to £23.
Please contact us at outings@matlockareau3a.org.uk as soon as possible or by 28 July to make a provisional booking for the theatre as the reservation period is limited and we have to pay a deposit to secure the seats.
NB. We have increased the price of the coach to £21 to cover the cost of the coach as it has increased since our trip to Harlow Carr.
