What is Beacon?

  • Beacon is a Membership Management System for U3As
  • It allows any U3A to manage their data and communication with their members easily and efficiently
  • It can be a huge time saver for those who manage membership and group information
  • With new regulations on Data Privacy it ensures that U3As comply with all legal requirements

Beacon is intended to be used primarily by the Membership Secretary, Treasurer and Co-ordinators. If you are a Group Co-ordinator who needs to use Beacon, please contact the Beacon Administrator to set up your account.

There have been some changes to where the User Guide and Training materials are located.  The links on the home page of the Beacon System will now direct you to the Helpdesk section of the Beacon website.    The link here will also take you to the Beacon website.  Beacon help    Once there just click on the Help tab at the top of the page or the “Need help” link under the large blue arrow.

If you are a registered Beacon user, click here to access the system. Make sure you select ‘Matlock Area’ from the dropdown menu to ensure you are directed to the correct page.
