Coffee Mornings generally take place on the first Monday of the month* at Matlock Football Club (Matlock Football Club, Causeway Lane, Matlock DE4 3AR) starting at 10.30 am – please check the website and newsletter if the date falls near a Bank Holiday. There are no Coffee Mornings in July and August.
They are a good opportunity to meet people from the various subject groups, and to hear about forthcoming events and opportunities. In addition, volunteers operate a “Digi-Desk” where they will try to help with any problems members may have with electronic devices such as computers, smartphones, tablets, etc.
There is usually a speaker, or some form of entertainment, as well as the coffee/tea and biscuits!
