We aim to organise about 4 outings/day trips a year, travelling by coach to a variety of venues including large gardens, exhibitions and museums, cities and theatre trips. This is an open group and all u3a members are welcome.
The trips are not open to non-u3a members and only assistance dogs are allowed on the coach. Please contact Mel or Jill to make a provisional booking and then complete and submit the booking form (TBA) with your payment by cheque payable to Matlock Area u3a.
It is essential to provide an emergency contact name and number on the booking form.
We do not offer refunds if you cancel your booking but will accept a substitute if you can find someone to take your place.
RHS Harlow Carr
The Outings Group has arranged a lovely day out by coach to RHS Harlow Carr near Harrogate on Wednesday 5th June.
You can book the coach only, but we have also arranged a guided walking tour that lasts a minimum of one hour which is conducted by a volunteer member of Friends of Harlow Carr. This will be an overview of the history and main features of the garden.
We will be leaving Slacks Coaches at 8.30am and plan to arrive back about 5.30pm.
For the coach only it is £20.00 per person or coach plus guided walk £23.00 per person.
Admission is free to RHS Harlow Carr as Matlock Area u3a has affiliated membership.
