2015 saw a number of new birders joining our group and each outing settling down to 10-12 people which is an ideal number to prevent aggravating either the local bird population or the local birders.

We changed venue for our lunch in 2016 to Alison House in Cromford. The birding was good (a pair of sparrowhawks being my personal highlight) and the lunch was superb in a beautiful venue.

In the future I would like to take a more collaborative approach to the walks, with volunteers from the group leading one or two walks a year. Please get in touch if one of the venues listed below tickles your fancy and you would like to lead the walk.
